These two are so adorable. I was so happy to capture their BIG day this past February. I knew these two crazy kids from college and they were both in my friends, the Rapiers (click here to reminisce), wedding in Cancun where I really got to KNOW Michael! All joking aside these two are just perfect for each other and their day reflected that tremendously. Here is just a little look at their day!

This E Session began way back when one afternoon when I was at the studio the day of a snowstorm to shovel the aftermath and a man strolled in the front door to ask for some details for engagement photos. Of course I was embarrassed due to my snow shoveling attire, but he as well was dressed in an interesting get-up with his shirt and tie paired with snow boots! He apparently didn’t think I was a complete crazy person because months later his fiance contacted me to set up there E Session.
When they got to the studio both parties were dressed in more of a seasonal and acceptable attire (in my case!) and we headed out south of town for some outdoorsy photos then back downtown for some more fun. Thank you Steve and Clair for an evening of fun and laughter and letting me document this exciting time in life!
The props they chose to bring their souvenirs that they purchased while studying abroad, where their relationship began. Pretty cute idea!

Most of you will remember this couple, Sarah and Rob, from their adorable engagement shoot. When they had settled on a January wedding date Sarah specifically stated that she wanted snow! Well, she got one of the warmer and probably the most windy day in January! Nonetheless it was a beautiful simple, yet elegant wedding that Sarah planned and designed all by herself! Congratulation you two!

Meet Kyleigh and Danny. Kyleigh and I met in college at Central where we both received our Bachelors Degree in Photography. She went on to open her own studio (Kyleigh Whitfield Photography) in Knob Noster MO (not to far from Clinton). We have been friends ever since helping each other along the way of building our businesses (which is how I met Danny). She called me a few back to set up a time for us to get together and chat business then snuck in that Danny (FINALLY!) popped the question! I was so excited for her! Here are a few sneak peeks from their E Session last week. I can’t wait for the wedding day!!!

This wedding, like most of mine do, has a story. I thought I would share this one with you all: Last winter I received an email from a couple from California (the state, not California, MO) inquiring about doing their wedding in Rolla. They went on to tell me that they had gone to High School with one of my very good friend’s husband and saw their wedding photos that I had done and that was why they called me. AWESOME! We met while they were home in Christmas, emailed back and fourth a few time and the big day was here! It was a gorgeous day and they had everything planned out to every little detail. Paul and Whitney (and the rest of the bridal party) were so much fun! The photos reflect some of their personality! Thank you so much for letting me capture your big day!

Just a little update on how the weekend went for Timeless! We did the 2 day KDKD Bridal Expo and Home Show Saturday and Sunday and had a great turn out! We met with so many excited brides, which was exciting for me! I would like to thank KDKD for all of the promotion for my business and all of their very hard work to make the weekend run smoothly. Also a big thank you to my Mom and Sister for spending the 2 days with me. Such a big help! (… and we did look pretty cute in our matching outfits!
Also I would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to our first Bachelorette Party winner, Crytstal Johnson! Congrats Crystal! We cannot wait to have an evening of fun with you and your girls!
Next weekend we will be at the Sedalia Bridal Fair at the MO State Fairgrounds in the Central Missouri Electric Co-op building from 12-4 Sunday Feb. 26th.
Below are some of the images I snapped while we were there this past weekend. Enjoy!
These guys were so much fun! We had to keep them under control the whole show though! Pet balloons from The Paper Plate located right here in Clinton! Click here to find out more about them!

My first bridal show is 18 days away and I have been frantically trying to think of different ways to really make my booth stand out. Today I went through all of my wedding images of the past 2011 season and selected some of my very favorites. After doing this I realized that I had chosen 40 images! WOW! I cannot print all of those. So, yes I can put them in a slideshow and have it running, but I also was thinking: why not get a few great prints (the kind that I have yet to let myself buy) and then compose a single Wedding Portfolio! Genius! It sounds like something I would just have lying around the studio, but it is really a treat actually because I am always so busy getting prints made for clients that I do not normally print (well I haven’t since I opened) for the studio. Now I feel a little more geared up for the Bridal Expo and SUPER excited for all my new things! Below is information about the show. Feel free to email me with any questions and if you are there be sure to stop in my booth and say hello!
