I met Ariel about six months ago (through my boyfriend Derek) and when he told me that he was getting ready to propose he said “Don’t worry, you will be taking our engagement pictures!” Well he kept his word! I met Alyssa shortly after he popped the question and we instantly clicked! And even though we missed part of the Chiefs game, we got some great shots and had a good time here in Warrensburg on campus and downtown! Thanks guys for asking me to do them for you! Oh and thank you to my wonderful boyfriend for holding the reflector and keeping us entertained 🙂 To see the rest of the shoot click here: http://timelessimagephotography.zenfolio.com/p884677963

This post is going to be dedicated to what I do every summer. Missouri Girls State 😀 I went to Girls State in 2006 and loved it. When I had an opportunity to go back as a counselor in 2008 I jumped on the chance and loved it! The following fall I was asked to assist as the photographer on staff and I returned this year as the photographer again. It is such a rewarding opportunity meeting some of the best and brightest girls that the good ol’ Show Me State has to offer. It is also awesome to be able to photograph some of the most important political people our state has. (Yes, I photographed the Governor!) So these are some of my images from the week. To find out more about Missouri Girls State visit: http://missourigirlsstate.org/

Every morning and evening the girls raise and lower the flag. This can be some of the most beautiful moments that happens during the week (not to mention 750 girls all quite at the same time ;))

I was able to teach a city how to fold these miniature flags (pocket flags) for their service project. These flags will be sent to Missouri troops before their deployment as a memento of home to take with them as they are away.

Governor Taylor Moody just found out that she WON!!!!

Swearing in!!! Congrats Miss Taylor!!

For this shoot we used a grid spot with some hairlighting to give that old Hollywood look. I think they turned out great! Thanks also to my wonderful model, my very good friend Megan Neubrand! She did awesome!

And a couple composites 🙂

I did some portraits of Matt on campus. This is his senior year at Central, so I thought it would be appropriate to shoot at some of the well known places on campus! Check out the rest of the shoot by clicking here!
